In May 1949, Pastor Henry Berg, ran his car down the road thinking about a song for the Conquistadores. Then he came to mind some words stopped the car and wrote. He continued his journey and started thinking about the melody, although not a musician. But in his words: "God gave him a song." Arriving home presented the praise of his wife, sitting at the piano began playing c antar. Later the song was brought to the music committee of the Heralds of the King, which approved it without any alteration. The anthem of the Pathfinder was formalized in 1952.
