In Chile, we are conquerors.
This 24 and April 25 was held in Chile and elsewhere in the world, commemorating 60 years since the club conquerors.
From Arica to Punta Arenas, including Easter Island, Chilean clubs are celebrating our 60th birthday. Each club held its local program on Saturday, a witness of the church and community, while on Sunday we came together to events coordinated each region.
The conquerors were protagonists of our birthdays since it began on Saturday morning. Pathfinders and leaders conducted the Sabbath school classes, picked up the gifts, took the missionary, were given to people at the entrance, etc. It is important to emphasize the missionary outreach of the activity, since many children first attended a Sabbath school class. And the missionary work of the clubs was not reduced to an internal environment, in contrast, clubs such as Alpha & Omega of La Calera used their afternoon carrying the message of hope to the children of a nearby children's home, always with the smile of those we carry on our shoulders our greatest symbol, the golden scarf.
Sabbath school and worship, the responsibility of each director in this special day, we went to the respective endowments. Campaigns to recruit members in schools and neighborhoods, through the "door to door, invitation cards and cyberaction, definitely paid off. New conquerors were invested, and of these, no fewer PANOLIN hung up his orange, to go from adventurers to conquerors. The Adventurers Club is a faithful companion of our club.
The red triangles journey did not end with the inauguration, in many churches took advantage of sharing as a club in a coexistence, and in some clubs, there were also briefings for parents and guardians of the conquerors.
Among the activities that accompanied the ceremonies on Saturday, some clubs made lunches, delivering leaflets, campaigns to attract new members, among others.
As for the day Sunday, the celebration reached a macro level. Interclub events were the perfect finishing touch to commemorate 60 years of life. In the MCHP (Chilean Mission Pacific), for example, there were two calls, one for the Region of Coquimbo and one for the Region of Valparaíso. The result: 52 active clubs, 710 participants, between the two regions.
